IS THE GYM OPEN?

We are excited to reopen our gym approximately on JUNE 20th, and can't wait for you to rejoin us in the fight for fitness! MJ Fitness will be open with limited capacity to active members only.

WHAT ARE THE SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES?

To maintain 6 feet of distance, every member will have their designated "BOX" which will contain your bag and any exercise equipment you will need for the class. This will ensure 6 feet + of distance between members and elimate shared equipment. Your coach will also give you a rundown of how this all works before class.

WHAT ARE YOUR ENHANCED CLEANING PROCEDURES?

We take your safety very seriously and are strictly following the recommendations and guidelines of state and local governments. In many cases we are going above and beyond guidelines.
After every single class we will follow a strict cleaning and sanitization process.
Pressurized Soap/Disinfectant will be sprayed on the bags, exercise equipment and floors to ensure maximum coverage of the disinfectant. Cleaning with soap and water reduces number of germs, dirt and impurities on the surface. Disinfecting kills germs on surfaces.
We will then wipe clean all equipment with an additional soap & disinfectant solution.
Finally, we will mop the entire floor with a soap & disinfectant solution.

HOW ARE WE ENTERING THE GYM?

Show up no earlier than 10 minutes before class. This is to give clients from previous class time to leave, and to minimize crowding in the common areas. If you arrive earlier, we ask that you wait in your car until 10 minutes before class time.
Come fully dressed for class and use the bathroom at home prior to entering the studio.
Leave your personal belongings in the trunk of your car, do not leave your belongings visible in your car.
A line with 6 feet spacing will be formed in our outdoor area. Once the studio is fully sanitized we will allow to enter.
Upon arriving at the studio you will be required to wash and/or sanitize your hands and sneakers. We will ensure we have plenty of hand sanitizer available and/or hand soap in our restrooms.
In an effort to keep all of our coaches and clients safe, any client showing visible signs of illness (i.e. runny nose, persistent sneezing and/or cough, etc.) will be asked not to take class that day and their class credit will go back on their account.

WHAT I CAN EXPECT TAKING CLASS & POST CLASS?

To maintain 6 feet of distance, everyone will have their own "BOX" complete with bag and any equipment you may need for the class. This will also prevent any sharing of equipment with fellow members. Don't worry, your coach will be sure to give you a run down of how this works before class.
While we are not requiring, you can wear a mask if you would like.
Please be conscious of your bag or equipment moving into the space of a fellow member. We ask that as the bag moves that you move it back into your box to maintain social distance.
If you absolutely need to use the restroom, please make sure to respect social distancing if the bathrooms are already in use.
You will not be receiving any hands-on form corrections during class but instead will see demonstrations and hear clear verbal cues to help you understand and execute the moves with safe and effective form.
We won't be high-fiving or fist bumping but encourage you to give your neighbor a verbal congratulations (at a safe distance) instead.
Exiting the studio will be done in zones similar to entering so we can adhere to social distancing.

HOW MANY CLASSES CAN I TAKE PER DAY?

For now, all members are limited to 1 class per day. Although not ideal, compared to the previous two months this is great news and we are so excited to have you back training with us! Thank you for your continued support and understanding
